I am writing you to express my interest in the Electrical Engineering Internship. I am a dedicated, hard-working, goal-driven, and punctual individual. I have exemplified this through receiving an Associates of Applied Arts in Audio Production within just less than one and a half years while working part-time (25 hours per week) and interning at a recording studio 15 hours a week. This is important to note due to the fact that the Associates Degree generally takes two years.
I continue to display these qualities by pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering while maintaining a full-time (40 hours per week) position in dbx technical customer support at Harman Signal Processing. Each semester at school I have taken anywhere from 6 to 13 credit hours while maintaining a 3.4 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. During my time at Harman I have earned a "U Rock Award," for my performance in customer correspondence, and have received excellent customer feedback for the help I have offered.
I have a passion for not just electrical engineering, but also audio, and I believe these two passions combined with my knowledge gained from Harman's customers will prove to be an invaluable asset to your department.
